Quality certifications are a natural consequence IIC Systems Quality endeavors. In its quality journey, IIC Systems achieved various milestones that signify recognition of its quality commitment by the external world. The Quality journey started in 2000 with establishment of Quality team and formalizing IIC Systems “Quality Management System”. It was assessed to Software CMM at Maturity Level 3 in 2004 by KPMG and in 2008 IIC Systems was certified to ISO 9001 2000 standards by American Quality Assessors.
The senior management is fully committed to all quality endeavors. It actively participates in the planning, execution and reviews of Quality initiatives. Managing Director participates in detailed reviews of Technical and support department progress towards achieving goals. These reviews include Completeness, Effort and Schedules of all projects as these directly effect our customer requirements. Our workforce is constantly exposed to various training courses on programming practices, software quality assurance and software engineering, and on specific tools and techniques such as configuration management, inspection and reviews. This process is supported by a hands-on quality assurance function and a comprehensive system of internal audits.
Similarly our SEPG Group consists of PL/PM that periodically meets for process improvement initiatives. It is due to their recommendation that IIC Systems is implementing CMMI Level 3 Process Areas and shall be our main focus for next one year.
